“Birthplace of all demonkind, in the center of Izalith. Massive tree-like creature with very long branches. There were some glowing branches of power on both sides of the thing so I tried to cut them off. Nasty surprise as cutting off a branch of power spawned another "arm" on the creature and this one was on fire. Cutting the other branch spawned another flaming arm but also revealed a path underneath the creature and inside it. I ran up and inside and found its beating heart. I crushed it and the creature died with it.”
